  This vista provides a wonderful view to the north and west across the big valley of Whitfield County, Georgia. Fall foliage adds to the enjoyment for the visitor. The Forest Service is very concerned that insect and disease problems such as southern pine beetle, hemlock wooly adelgid, gypsy moths, and dogwood anthracnose threaten the health of these forested watersheds in the Conasauga River basin. |
