  This panorama was taken upstream from a bridge that has created large amounts of erosion for almost half a mile due to the road restricting the floodplain. This area is a well known recreation spot for the local community as well as being a good example of the ridge and valley geography of the middle Conasauga. Looking off of the upstream and downstream sides of the bridge allows people to see the negative impacts that can occur when flood plans as well as instream habitats area disturbed. |
