The Conasauga River is vastly diverse watershed encompassing over 500,000 acres. Using the interactive map you get the opportunity to see the river as it travels through two states, multiple counties and two ecologically different regions. The Conasauga is home to a multitude of species ranging from dragonflies to freshwater mussels, the changes in habitats create the perfect place to live for many types of critters. The area is also home to the world's largest carpet industry as well as being centrally located between two major cities. As you travel along you will notice the many uses and needs put upon the Conasauga's valuable resources. Throughout the journey many ways of protecting the Conasauga are demonstrated. Through creativity and cooperation we can help protect this wonderful resource.

This digital terrain map outlines the watershed project area and five distinct geographic sections. Begin your exploration by choosing either of these sections. This will take you to a closer and more detailed terrain map. From there you can choose spots to begin a Virtual Tour while viewing high quality, interactive and immersive 360 degree panorama views
